Wedding Bliss in November
Sunny days in mid November can be hard to come by in the heart of the Midwest. However, Kayleigh & Matt managed to pick a beautiful sunny (although chilly, which you'd never know from the pictures of her outside in a cap-sleeved gown) to celebrate their beginning together! Clutching one of our favorite bouquets, with garden roses, dahlias, olive tree foliage, eucalyptus, ranunculus, wax flower, privet berries and more, truly brought out the texture of her gown. While Matt sported a peach ranunculus to match.
Their Ceremony space at Ravenswood Event Center was defined with two overflowing, natural arrangements on wooden pedestals which were later repurposed on the dessert table. Flowers in clear glass jars hung from aisle side chairs with ivory satin ribbon. We especially loved the escort card table with an eclectic mix of vintage cut glass vessels holding pops of floral and tall stemmed votives holding mercury glass candles. The centerpieces held the similar floral as the bridal bouquet in clear footed compotes with yummy textures of fall flowers. But not too fall-ish! The bride didn't want typical fall colors like yellow, red and orange. Peach, coral, white and green are a great fall alternative palette.
Very special Thank You to Katie with Cage & Aquarium for these amazing photos!
