Modern, Colorful Wedding Flowers at Loft Lucia

When Maria and Todd said "I do" at Loft Lucia, summer showed up in full color. Their wedding day called for flowers that felt modern, sophisticated, and effortlessly elegant, so we built a palette around vivid pinks and glowing coral, warmed with hints of orange and sunny yellow, then cooled with unexpected touches of blue. Soft blush and crisp white blooms gave the bold shades room to breathe, keeping every arrangement polished and balanced. The result was a celebration that felt joyful and vibrant while still looking refined against the clean lines of the venue. Maria's bridal bouquet was loose, natural, and a relaxed gathering of garden roses, zinnias, delphinium, dahlias, ranunculus, and lisianthus. The mix of shapes and textures gave it a just-picked feel, while the bright summer colors kept it fresh and full of personality. We finished it with a simple ivory satin ribbon for a clean, elegant touch. For Todd and the groomsmen, we kept things sleek with a single hot pink ranunculus and a touch of greenery, wrapped in black raw silk with the stems left exposed. Against their black tuxes, that pop of pink made a bold, modern statement. The youngest guest of honor, the flower girl, carried a petite bouquet of her own, a sweet detail that made her part of the floral story.

For the ceremony, we dressed the altar with four white pedestals, two on each side, each topped with a lush, colorful arrangement. Using the same blooms as Maria's bouquet, including garden roses, zinnias, delphinium, dahlias, ranunculus, and lisianthus, tied the ceremony space back to the bride's look and kept the whole design cohesive. The crisp white pedestals gave the bright pinks, corals, and pops of blue a clean, modern stage to shine against. And because good florals deserve more than one moment, we repurposed the arrangements in the reception space, so Maria and Todd's guests could keep enjoying them all evening.

A couple of “I dos” and a kiss later, and they were married!

As for the reception space, that got adorned in vibrant flowers too, obvi! Cocktail tables were topped with petite gold bud vases, and a medium arrangement welcomed guests at the gift and entry table. For the round dinner tables, we designed loose, natural centerpieces in low gold metal vessels. Votives and taper candles surrounded each one, adding a warm, romantic glow as the evening went on. The rectangular tables got a slightly different look: a collection of three medium centerpieces layered with tapers and votives, creating a candlelit runner of color down the length of the table. Finally, the cake was finished with a few blooms tucked onto each tier in peach, hot pink, light pink, and touches of blue, tying the dessert table back to the rest of the day's palette.
