Colorful Spring Wedding at The Joinery

There's something especially meaningful about flowering a wedding for a client with whom we’ve already had the opportunity to work. When Suzy reached out to us to design her spring wedding at The Joinery, we were so excited! After working together on several of her work events, we already knew her eye for beauty and her love of color. This time, though, it wasn't for a work event. It was about her and Greg, and the start of their life together. Set against the industrial-meets-romantic backdrop of The Joinery this past March, Suzy and Greg's wedding was a celebration bursting with springtime joy - a palette of white, peach, yellow, coral, and orange, woven together with lush greenery for a look that was festive, colorful, and totally them. Check out these photos by Rocio Pagoada Photography of their special day below!

No wedding day is complete without gorg personal flowers! Suzy’s bridal bouquet was designed to feel loose, natural, and effortlessly gathered - a soft mix of seasonal blooms like ranunculus, roses, snapdragons, stock, and blue delphinium, finished with a trailing ivory satin ribbon. To complement her look, we tucked petite florals into a delicate hair comb for a romantic, garden-inspired touch. The bridesmaids carried smaller versions of Suzy's bouquet, echoing the same soft, natural style in a more compact form.

For the guys, we kept things simple and fresh with peach ranunculus boutonnieres accented with a touch of greenery. And of course, the little ones and the moms weren't forgotten - a sweet flower crown for the flower girl and delicate corsages for both moms rounded out the personal flowers with the same spring-fresh charm found throughout the day.

We adorned The Joinery’s striking copper ceremony structure with an asymmetrical arrangement of colorful florals and lush greenery, letting the blooms cascade and spill in an organic, garden-gathered way. There's nothing quite like the way vibrant color plays against The Joinery's rustic exposed brick - the contrast brought out the warmth of the peach, coral, and yellow tones. To make the moment even more memorable, we also installed an eye-catching hanging floral piece suspended in the center of the room over the ceremony aisle: a free-form design of florals and greenery that added a whimsical, romantic focal point as Suzy and Greg exchanged their vows below.

For the reception, we carried the same springy, colorful palette through every detail of the room. Each dinner table featured a pair of white bowl arrangements filled with florals and greenery, with lush greenery draping over the edges to soften the look. Warm peach and coral taper candles in white holders were paired with clear votives scattered across the table, casting a soft glow as the evening went on. Cocktail tables kept things simple and charming with petite white bud vases holding a few delicate blooms and greenery, while both bars were anchored with medium-sized floral arrangements that added color and life to the space. And at the sweetheart table, Suzy's bridal bouquet took center stage on display, surrounded by flickering votives and taper candles.

Congratulations again, Suzy and Greg! We loved being part of your special day.
