Enchanted Forest Wedding at Garfield Park Conservatory
Morgan and Thomas had a magical enchanted forest wedding at Garfield Park Conservatory in Chicago last October. The palette of nude, blush, dusty blush, and burnt sienna played beautifully off the Conservatory's lush greenery, giving the whole day a warm, woodland feel. For her hair, Morgan wore a petite flower crown in all white, designed for natural movement rather than a stiff, structured look. Her bridal bouquet was loose and dynamic, full of texture, with seasonal dahlias, ranunculus, and Moab and Quicksand roses mixed with a touch of greenery, finished with an ivory satin ribbon.
Morgan’s bridesmaids carried similar bouquets to hers. We love the way the flowers looked with the tones of pink and nude dresses. So pretty!
Thomas and his attendants wore simple, understated boutonnieres - a single peach ranunculus paired with a touch of greenery. They were finished in neutral raw silk with the stems left exposed, a detail that felt right alongside the men's muted green and gray suits. The officiant wore a special flower too- a corsage made with a vibrant ranunculus.
The gift table featured a floral arrangement designed to echo Morgan's bridal bouquet, tying the small details back to the bride's own florals. Once cocktail hour ended, the arrangement was moved to the guestbook table to continue anchoring that space throughout the reception.
The ceremony arch featured asymmetrical florals and greenery, with heavier blooms concentrated on the left side and lower right for a natural look. The arch was later repurposed and placed next to the guestbook in the Horticulture Hall, giving the arrangement a second life for guests to enjoy up close.
Obsessed with this dramatic dip!
For dinner, the round tables were dressed with a mix of tapers in clear holders alongside desert rose candles, white pillar candles in clear cylinders, and clear cut glass votives, with greenery and a few flowers tucked throughout. The rectangular tables carried the same candle collection for a cohesive look across the room.
The head table stood out with a full garland accented with tucked-in flowers, paired with the same mix of votives, tapers, and pillars used throughout the space.
Congratulations again, Morgan and Thomas! To many enchanted years together.
