Valentine's Day Wedding Flowers at LouLou by Lula
Leigh and Gordon opted for an intimate wedding on the most romantic day of the year - Valentine’s Day. Naturally, they leaned into all the pinks, reds, and purples - across their flowers, linens, and decor. They wanted to create a kind of valentine’s day vintage vibe, and we loved bringing their lovely flowers to fruition. They chose the perfect spot for their 40 person intimate wedding: Lou Lou by Lula in Logan Square. Great food, romantic vibes, and bursting hearts were surely in the air! Check out the photos of their wedding flowers by Jess Diaz Photography below.
The space was brought to life with a mix of lush florals and warm candlelight. The main, long rectangle table was adorned with several low centerpieces nestled in white ceramic oval vases, complemented by a collection of red and pink taper candles and votives glowing throughout. Over at the bar, a larger statement piece anchored the spread while a scattering of bud vases and votives added those little touches of charm that make all the difference. The overall effect was warm, elegant, and perfectly in step with their Valentine's Day vintage vision.
How cute are the menus, heart place cards, and maroon goblets?! We were obsessed.
Leigh carried a loose bouquet filled with eye-catching blooms like snapdragons, roses, ranunculus, stock, and lisianthus, which were all tied together with ivory satin ribbon. The soft, garden-gathered feel was perfectly on brand for the romantic, vintage Valentine's Day aesthetic they wanted. Gordon kept things classic and intentional with a single red ranunculus boutonniere, its stems wrapped in a neutral raw silk ribbon. Simple, elegant, and the perfect complement to Leigh's lush arrangement.
Congratulations again, Leigh and Gordon! Wishing you a lifetime of romance <3
