Organic, Natural Wedding Flowers at The Crawford in Naperville, IL

Every once in a while we travel from out of our bubble in Chicago to its surrounding suburbs. This time we headed out to Naperville to provide Rachel and Kevin’s organic, natural, flowwy wedding flowers at The Crawford. Colors we focused on for their unique florals were greens, whites, browns, with a pop of blush. We loved incorporating trailing, lime green amaranthus into their flowers for that dripping effect. In addition to the green amaranthus, we also included trailing white orchids, anthurium, blush and white roses into Rachel’s bouquet. Kevin wore a mini white calla lily against his black suit and bowtie.

Their ceremony decor was simple and elegant. We made a floral hedge in a half moon shape using similar flowers to the bride’s bouquet as well as greenery. The space looked bright and clean!

We loved the bridesmaids’ look - they all wore long silky dresses in different colors (blush, brown, silver). They all held similar bouquets to the bride, only smaller.

For their reception, we set their dinner tables with low centerpieces and candles, to accompany their brown napkins and simple paper table numbers.

We repurposed their ceremony flowers to decorate the front of their sweetheart table. Rachel’s bouquet got some extra time at the center of attention because it was placed on their table as well.
